As we were visiting on a cruise we realised we couldn't do the full day return but the team were quick to resolve this by rebooking our return ferry for an earlier time. The trip over to the island departed on time and the ferry was clean and comfortable. There was quite a long queue to get the stinger suits and snorkels and we were waiting for a long time. “This activity was absolutely brilliant. Once in a life time opportunity for people like me and my wife. We had the best day. The staff were absolutely great and extremely helpful. Plenty of staff on and off board making sure you are safe and cared for. Boat came with 4 toilets. Two in which had hot showers. Lunch was good too! Finally, the photographer was absolutely brilliant. We rented a go pro from him and managed to record around 1 hour 30 minutes of footage whilst diving. “The communication from the tour operator was lacking slightly. I really liked the Skyrail part. The views from there were great and I enjoyed the stops along the way. The train was just okay. Very hot, sticky and crowded. With the lack of rain, the few waterfalls were not that impressive. (I know this isn’t the tour operators issue, but it was part of my experience which is why I’m including it). Kuranda itself was cool. Lots to see, places to eat and shops to check out. I would have rather driven up to Kuranda though honestly.”
